Actor and close ally of actress Ahoufe Patri, Kalybos, says the actress has shunned public gatherings because of a false drug addiction story about her.
There were allegations some weeks ago that the actress, born Priscilla Opoku Agyeman, was into drugs.
Kalybos, born Richard Asante, told JoyNews' MzGee in an interview that the actress is “a very emotional person…” adding, she had been terribly broken by the false reportage.
“You have no idea what she has been through because of something bad someone wrote about her…her mum is even worse,” he said.
Commenting further on her current state, Kalybos said the actress has restricted her appearances and "she is not going to go to public places…”
Rubbishing the reports by Ghanacelebrities.com, he emphatically stated: "nothing shows that she is addicted or something like that.”
He took on the writer who peddled that falsehood saying the “said blogger is being wanted by most celebrities and everything he was saying on that blog is not true…"
"I don’t know where he gets his news from. You can’t go all the way to attack someone’s life like that, I mean Karma is waiting for you.”
