At the end of the day, style, elegance, uniqueness and a pinch of attitude graced the runway, Saturday night at the Joy Prime and Hitz FM Made in Ghana Fair.
The fashion show saw presenters of both platforms walk the runway in designer clothes from some of Ghana’s finest designers.
It was a battle of style between Hitz FM’s Doreen Avio, Mic Gizo, Dr Pounds, Merqury Quaye and Joy Prime’s Emman and Barikisu; hosts of Hot Picks, as well as Mauvie Hayford, host of Fresh Juice and Home Affairs on Joy Prime.
Let’s Talk Entertainment host Becky and Host of Red Carpet IB Ben-Bako rocked the runway as well.
Designers worked around the clock to transform them into office wears for the modern woman, evening gowns, and dresses that defined elegance in unique ways. Ntadepa Clothes, Naadu designs, Enkwam Klothin, Yaw Bako clothing, Gathy Faidoo of Pauligath, Gyameah Designs, Heeru Designs made strong fashion statements through their designs.
The Made in Ghana Fair that came off at the Junction Mall, Nungua over the weekend was aimed at being a one-stop shop for all authentically made in Ghana goods.
As ardent listeners and viewers thronged the place to catch a glimpse of their favourite presenters, patrons took advantage of the ongoing sales.
Team Joy Prime, made of presenter Selly Ghalley and musician Mzbel won the cooking competition against Team Hitz FM, which had Dr Pounds and musician Kwaw Kese. Although the men did try to show their erratic cooking skills, the ladies carried the day.
