Officers from the Cantonments Police Division in Accra on Monday busted 16 sex workers of different nationalities in the capital.
The 16 ladies have been charged with engaging in prostitution, which is considered as a misdemeanour in the country.
A court then slapped a fine of ¢300 on the busted sex workers.
Ten of them were Nigerians, five were Ghanaians and one lady was identified as Liberian.
