Vincent Odotei Sowah has been appointed as the chairman of the newly constituted strategic committee of Hearts of Oak.
Current Managing Director of the club Gerald Ankrah will serve as secretary to the committee with former NCC boss Alhaji Akambi, board members Frank Nelson and Thomas Esso completing the five-man strategic team tasked to restore the glory of the Phobians.
Odotei, won the parliamentary primaries on the ticket of the NPP for La Dadekotopon constituency and will have another stint in football administration after heading the management teams of both Hearts of Oak and King Faisal.
The former GFA presidential aspirant was Chief Executive Officer of the club between 2007 and 2010 and it was during his tenure Hearts of Oak won their last Premier League trophy till date .
Hearts of Oak finished 13th last season as the Phobians endured a torrid spells on and off the pitch.
