As part of efforts to offer quality customer care, Vodafone Ghana has introduced a dedicated twitter handle for its customers.
With #AskVodafoneGh or @AskVodafoneGh, customers can tweet their complaints and get instant feedback.
A customer who tried the new system was surprised when he got a quick response to his complaint.
"It actually works! Vodafone Ghana should be commended for this innovative approach especially their approach on social media," the customer tweeted.
A statement from Vodafone said, hundreds of thousands of Ghanaians can now be reached on social media pages and this is a great way to reach them and provide solutions to their problems.
"Resolving customer complaints comes at virtually no cost as it does not require travel time in these months of austerity measures. Customers can also concentrate on their various jobs as they do not have to sacrifice working hours in getting their complaints resolved," the statement added.
With the introduction of the twitter handle, Vodafone said it will help cut back on queues turnaround time for customers in their retail shops.
