A group of chiefs from the Volta Region are at the CID headquarters here in Accra to solidarise with Mr. Alfred Woyome, who they describe as their son.
Woyome is on remand after he was arrested a week ago for his role in the controversial GHS58 million judgment debt payment.
Joy News sources say the chiefs have not been pleased with the manner Woyome's arrest was handled.
MPs from the region have similarly expressed misgivings about the manner of his arrest.
