Ghana’s Black Princesses are out of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup on-going in Japan but midfielder Beatrice Sesu says the team plans to make their bow in grace. The Princesses will face China in their last group game in Saitama on Monday and the former Black Maidens skipper told GNA Sports the team is preoccupied with picking a decent result in the encounter. “It is very bad that we do not have even a point yet. It will be worse if we go home with zero point. We are determined not to let that happen and that means fighting all the way against China. “Our aim was to go all the way but things have not turned out as expected. The least we can do for the country and ourselves is fight to at least restore the little pride left.” Asked if this turnaround in hunger was not borne out of the fact that losing their first two games has deprived them of their 2000 dollars winning bonus, Sesu answered in the negative. “No, the bonus has nothing to do with our desire to win at all cost. It is down to our decision to fight and not go home empty since that will be very bad for all of us.” Ghana exited the last competition in Germany in 2010 in the first round as debutants and hoped to avoid a repeat at this competition that house the Princesses in Group D alongside Germany, USA and China. The Princesses lost their group opener 0-4 to the United State of America before losing their second a further 0-1 to Germany which they held for most part of the duration.
