Executive members of the National Democratic Congress have given the assurance that the party will win two seats in the Nkoranza North and South constituencies.
They have also urged members of the party to assist the flagbearer to intensify his campaign to enable him win the Presidential Elections in 2008.
Mr. Kofi Adu-Bediako and Mr. Thomas Owusu-Ansah, NDC secretaries for the two constituencies, said they were re-organising their members to prevent other parties from poaching them.
"We are meeting our members at the zonal level to know the challenges facing the party so that they can map out the necessary strategies to address such problems and to ensure that they remain faithful to the party," Mr. Adu-Bediako said.
Mr. Adu-Bediako expressed regret that the NDC lost the two seats to the New Patriotic Party in 2004 and said efforts were being made to correct mistakes that resulted in the party's defeat.
He called on NDC members to remain committed to the party and not to allow other political parties to lure them with gifts.
Mr. Adu-Bediako urged NDC members to renew their identification cards and pay their dues in preparation for the Elections.
The party's aspiring parliamentary candidates in the constituencies were advised to carry out their campaigns decently.
