The Manager of the yet-to-be-opened eatery, Wichburger, Mr. Edward Quartey is promising to raise competition in the hospitality industry thereby giving patrons value for money.
The wholly owned Ghanaian company located near Eddy’s Pizza at Weija in the Greater Accra region will launch its first outlet in Accra on February 13.
Mr. Edward Quartey in a statement said he decided to establish Wichburger as his way of contributing towards the reduction of the unemployment rate in the Ghana.
He said the choice of the hospitality industry underscores the economic impact of the industry to Ghana’s GDP. The company is set to open several outlets across the country as tourism in Ghana booms.
“We are happy this is finally getting off. We believe this would offer a lot of employment opportunities,” Mr. Quartey said. “Wichburger is in to contribute to the economy, and we believe by offering employment, households would be affected positively.”
He assured, “Wichburger would stock sandwiches and burgers of various delicacies, officials say and consumers can look forward to an exciting service as Wichburger comes to town.”
