A passenger plane travelling to New York from Saudi Arabia had made an emergency landing at Heathrow after a woman reportedly gave birth on board.
An emergency was declared on the Boeing 777 while it was flying over Northern Ireland.
The Boeing 777 Saudi Airlines plane was en route from Jeddah, in the Middle Eastern kingdom, to New York’s JFK airport.
Flight tracking radar shows that an emergency was declared while the plane was flying over Northern Ireland.
It had travelled over northern England before flying over Northern Ireland. However, it turned around over Ireland and started travelling towards Wales.

The aircraft coasted in over Rhyl at 30,000 feet and continued its flight over Buckley and Wrexham, the Daily Post reported.
Pictures show the plane landed at Heathrow at about 11.10am. The plane was dumping fuel ahead of its landing at the west London airport.
Flight 21 from Jeddah to New York’s JFK airport operates daily and the 10,000km flight normally takes about 12 hours to complete.

Saudia is the national airline of Saudi Arabia and operates 163 aircraft ranging from large Boeing 777s to smaller Embraer 175 aircraft.
