On Friday 27th July 2012, the last of the three brand new VW polo cars in the Alvaro “Be a winner naturally” promotion was presented to Madam Agnes Kufuour at the ‘It’s My Kitchen Resturant’ near Baba Yara Sport Stadium in Kumasi, where she bought the bottle of Alvaro.The promotion which ended on June 30th 2012, earlier rewarded 2 lucky winners with VW polo cars in Tamale and Accra as well as many amazing prizes such as Flat Screen TVs, Laptops, Home theatre sets, Blackberry phones, Ipods, T shirts and free drinks.The Proud winner, Madam Agnes Kufuour, a former employee of Ghana Commercial Bank and now a business woman, was overwhelmed with joy when she was presented with the sleek VW polo car. Present to witness the handing over ceremony and to show their support, were her family and friends as well as staff of Guinness Ghana Breweries Ltd.When interviewed, the excited Agnes Kufuour commented that she was planning to replace her old car, but with the timely intervention from God, she has received a free brand new VW Polo car from Alvaro. She revealed her initial disbelief when a waiter at the restaurant where she was having dinner with her family, confirmed that her Alvaro crown was a winning crown for a VW Polo car.Mr Dan Wenya, Kaase Brewery Manager at Guinness Ghana Breweries Ltd, presented the key to the elated winner and congratulated all the other lucky winners who walked away with amazing prizes as a result of their participation in the Alvaro promotion.
