A seminar on women's contribution to Ghana's development is to be held as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, said the Ghana@50 Secretariat.A statement from the secretariat said the seminar comes off on March 13 under the auspices of the secretariat.The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Chamber of Mines, Ms Joyce Aryee, Member of Parliament of Tarkwa-Nsueaem, Mrs. Gifty Kusi, and Mrs Joyce Villars, Managing Director, Camelot would be addressing the seminar.The seminar under the theme, “The Contribution of women to National Development," would be held at the International Conference Centre.Topics to be discussed would touch on Women's Contribution to Ghana's Independence and Democratic Governance, Women's Role in Parliament and Women's Contribution to Economic Development in Ghana since Independence.On March 14, an international marketing seminar would be held at the Golden Tulip Hotel, the statement said.On March 16, there would be a Reggae Concert dubbed: "Back to our Roots" at the AICC.
