Amidaus Professionals became the first team to reach the quarter final of the MTN FA Cup after ending the title hopes of Aduana Stars on Saturday.
The premiership debutants won the first fixture of the last eight games 2-1 at the Tema Stadium.
After enduring a long spell of a goal drought, Yahaya Mohammed returned to scoring form as his brace ensured that Amidaus won the fifth round tie.
Amidaus raced into a two-nil lead before Aduana pulled one back from the spot and converted by Emmanuel Allan.
Three more quarter final matches will be decided on Sunday for places in the last four.
For Amidaus, a last four place will mark good progress in their debut season in the top flight.
