The ongoing Zain Live Your Dream Too (LYD) promotion has taken an interesting turn with the latest winner, a 30-year-old man from Kumasi, picking for the first time, two out of the three Zain logos in the game board to emerge the highest winner since the inception of the promotion nine weeks ago.
Samuel Owusu Agyemang Prempeh, a native of Sepe in the Ashanti Region won GH¢ 57,500 out of the ultimate GH¢75,000 to emerge the highest winner so far. He picked two of the three Zain logos each valued at GH¢25,000 in rapid succession and topped it up with GH¢ 7,500 giving him a record figure of GH¢ 57,500.
Passing a comment on his fortune, Samuel said “Although I am dumbfounded, I am excited because my life has taken an unexpected turn for good. I used to run a brisk business but it collapsed because there was not much capital to support it, and you can imagine life since then. This reward could not have come at a better time “he noted.
At the game show held at the Aboabo junction, Kumasi, several subscribers also got the opportunity to win instant prizes including mobile pones, and other Zain souvenirs. Three subscribers also won GH¢ 300 each in the instant draw.
Two other winners of the weekly draw Ernest Bugbazah a 29 year old policeman from Lashibi and Michael K. Afranie, 22, from Bekwai each won GH¢ 5,000 for emerging the first and second runners up respectively for the week 8. This brings to eight the number of lucky customers who have played the game show and 16 those to have been rewarded with GHC 5000 since the start of the promotion. More than 300 others have also received various items such as Netbook (Acer Laptop), phones and other Zain branded souvenirs.
Just last week, the entire LYD team covered the long distance to the famous Tein district in the Brong Ahafo Region and rewarded Freda Asari, the 28-year-old secretary of the Nsawkaw District Health Center and the ultimate winner for week 7. She was presented with a cheque of GHC 25,000 to live her dream.
Zain Ghana Marketing Manager for Consumer and Payphone, Mr. Tara Squire said “This particular show has brought us excitement; at least someone has broken the cycle of winners picking only a logo and other cash values. Now that a two logo winner has emerged, we hope to see someone unveil all three to pick the ultimate. We had made a commitment to empower our customers and make a difference in their lives when we commenced this exciting offer, and as you can see, we are fulfilling that promise.
The Live Your Dream promotion is opened to all Zain customers. To participate, load GH¢2 credit or use 50 GHp in 24 hours each of which qualifies you for the draw.
