A 109-capacity bed hospital has been opened in Accra to serve the health needs of surrounding communities including Dansoman, Akweteman and Shiabu among others.
The facility, Royal Hospital established by the Missions Medical Relieve Group, is to focus on child healthcare and other adult related diseases like cancer, diabetes, and malaria etc.
Speaking at a ceremony to officially open the facility, Chief Executive Officer Addom Seme explained that the vision behind establishing the health facility at such a location is to help provide basic health needs to the people in the area at an affordable rate.
He said the hospital will embark on an extensive pediatric services whiles focusing on other common diseases as well.
The hospital will also embark on a continuous health screening exercise and a routine Cervical and Breast Cancer screening exercises aiming at reducing the risk of such diseases on the people.
He assures that the hospital administration is in talks with the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) to get accreditation to offer National Health Insurance Services (NHIS) to the people.
The Royal Hospital is a subsidiary of the Missions Medical Relieve group of companies with ultra-modern health facilities across the country providing quality but affordable services in a friendly motivated environment.
The opening of the new hospital brought together health practitioners and traditional rulers from the Suburb.
