Prophet Peter Anamoh, the man who prophesied that the world was going to end on Friday, 11th November, 2011, has apologized to Ghanaians and Christians in particular, over the failed prophesy. Almost a year and half after that failed prophesy, Prophet Anamoh says he is still surprised that what God revealed to him did not happen. The Founder of Machaira Community Centre told the nation in 2011, God revealed to him that mankind will pay for sins committed over the years through rapture which was to occur on the eleventh day of the eleventh month of the year [11/11/2011]. He convinced a large number of his congregation to migrate into Zuarungu, a village about an hour’s drive from Bolgatanga, where he claimed will not be destroyed with the rest of the world. Speaking to Myjoyonline.com ahead of activities to mark Twelve years of his Ministry, “Prophet to the Nations”, as he is known to his followers, said he was sorry for the prophesy. He said even though the prophesy failed to materialise, he was happy that people heeded to the directive to stay righteous on that day. He however refused to take responsibility because, “I acted based on God’s instruction”. “The Prophets responsibility is to get an information (sic) and dissipate the information, if you disobey you have problem with God…So my job as a Prophet was to obey and I did my part,” he stated, insisting that will not stop him from disclosing other revelations that God reveals to him. Meanwhile, Prophet Anamoh says God has revealed to him that the spirit of death is hanging over the country this year. He claimed many prominent people will die this year according to the revelation he received. He said the nation could be shocked by the wave of deaths that will hit its citizens across all ages; “from the least to the top”. He however said this prophesy could be averted. “The only way we can do that is to teach people the spiritual technology to deal with death,” he maintained. He called on the nation rally behind him as he prepares to organize conferences to impact people with the knowledge, with which this prophesy could be avoided.
