About 19 National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) staff have been interdicted following investigations by the Bureau for National Investigations (BNI)
The management of NHIA made the decision after a formal communication from BNI.
The Bureau of National Investigations launched an investigation into some alleged financial malfeasance at the authority leading to the arrest of the former Cheif Executive of the NHIS Sylvester Mensah. He has been accused of making false claims.

9. Patrick Kuagbenu - District Manager, Sunyani
10. Rafat Dawud Ali - District Manager, Jaman North
11. Kwaku Asare - Snr. M&E Officer, Volta Regional Office
12. Peter Kwasi Sarpong - District Manager, Tain
13. Taminu Ahmed - District Manager, Pru
14. Mohammed Mahmud District Accountant, Tamale Municipal
