The reward for information leading to the arrest of the killers of the Deputy Managing Director of the Ghana Commercial Bank has been increased to 23,000 new Ghana cedis (¢230 million).
Mr Rokko Frimpong is said to have been coldly murdered in his house at Sakumono in the evening of last week Thursday by a gang of armed men.
The police said they have since been on the tail of the suspects and had posted a ransom on the killers.
The Acting Public Affairs Director at the Ghana Police Service, DSP Kwesi Ofori told Joy News’ Israel Laryea that the police is hopeful they will soon apprehend the perpetrators of the crime.
“No arrest has been made yet. We are investigating,” he said.
