Three government bungalows in the Volta Regional capital of Ho are earmarked for demolition to pave way for construction works.
This follows the re-allocation of the parcel of land which is opposite the Ho Sports Stadium to Melcom Ghana Limited.
“The Lands Commission and the [Volta] Regional Coordinating Council has resolved to relocate Melcom Ghana Limited to a new site opposite Lena Pharmacy”, part of a letter signed by Prosper Afenyo, Ag Regional Coordinating Director and addressed to public servants occupying the bungalows read.

The affected public servants have therefore been directed to vacate the structures by 31st March 2022 and hand over the keys to Mr. Afenyo.
“By a copy of this letter, the Chief Accountant, Volta Regional Coordinating Council, is hereby directed to take the necessary steps to stop your rent deduction from source (CAGD) until a new alternative residential accommodation is allocated to you”, he further started.
He concluded by expressing his deepest “regret for the inconveniences this notice might have caused.”
