The Dansoman Police have arrested two security men at the Ebenezer Secondary School in connection with the murder of an eight-year old boy last Sunday.
A pastor has also been invited for questioning on the matter.
On Tuesday, residents of Atomic Down found the decapitated body of Nana Yaw Buabeng at the Ebenezer school’s compound in what is suspected to be a case of ritual murder - head and genitals had been cut-off.
Family of the deceased person have resorted to prayer and fasting.
They told Joy News' Michaela Anderson God would definitely expose the perpetrators behind this heinous crime.
Nana Yaw Buabeng was last seen Easter Sunday when he was sent on an errand by the mother, Anderson reported.
On the same day, he was seen in the company of two strangers, a man and a woman who allegedly bought him fried rice.
He was declared missing late Sunday but found mutilated on Tuesday.
It has emerged however that the boy was picked to church early on that fateful day by a pastor.
Chief Superintendent Antwi Tabi, Dansoman Divisional Police Commander told Joy News' Jefferson Sackey the pastor has been invited for questioning.
According to the Police Commander, the mother of the deceased allowed the pastor, a stranger, to come pick her son to church elsewhere whilst she attended another church.
Chief Superintendent Antwi Tabi said the pastor would be asked some few questions and his house searched.
He said the two security men at Ebenezer Secondary School have also been picked up.
Chief Superintendent Antwi Tabi could not understand how the security men would claim to be unaware of a crime of such magnitude.
