Five more persons have died of the novel coronavirus in Ghana.
This, according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS), brings the country’s death toll to 153.
The GHS website also revealed that 763 new Covid-19 infections been confirmed as the tally rises to 28,430.

The new cases are from samples that were taken from the period June 7 to July 16, 2020 but reported from the lab on July 17.

24,901 persons have recovered/discharged. The number of active cases as of July 17, 2020 is 3,376.
