Five people - three women and two men - are feared dead in an accident at Offinso-Abofour in the Ashanti Region Saturday night.
Several others are reported to be injured and are currently receiving treatment at Offinso-Maase Hospital.
It is unclear what might have caused the accident but Luv FM’s News Editor; Saaed Ali Yakubu reported that some of dead are with the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Manhyia Sub-Metro office.
They were returning from a funeral in Kintampo in the Bono Ahafo region when the accident occurred.
According to Saaed Ali Yakubu, although the police have not made any official comment on the accident, eyewitnesses say they were at the scene soon after the accident.
