A 50-year-old woman who has been accused of witchcraft and was subsequently nearly lynched has threatened to go to court to redeem her image.Madam Fati, who hails from Tolon-Kumbungu in the Northern Region was accused of bewitching her stepson who died.However, when both she and her accusers went to the elders of the community to perform some rituals to verify the allegations, Madam Fati was exonerated.She subsequently reported her ordeal to the Federation of Female Lawyers for legal advice.She said she could no longer live in the area because her reputation had been tarnished and her image badly damaged.Somewhere last year, another 50-year-old woman suffered a similar ordeal and had to trek three days on foot to a safe place to save her life.
