Barring any last minute challenges, the 2013 Budget will be presented to Parliament in March. Joy Business has learnt officials of the Finance Ministry are currently rounding-up work on the budget before sending it to cabinet for final inputs. Sources say there might not be any drastic change from last year’s budget which focused on growth, job creation and infrastructure development. Analysts would be looking out for how the John Mahama administration plans to raise revenue to fund some of his campaign promises and the economic direction for this administration. Government last year spent a little over 21 billion Ghana cedis on wages and salaries, services maintenance, administration and investment infrastructure.
