The room was listed at 53 square feet, but when measured with a tape measure, they found that the actual bedroom was only 32 square feet, meaning that 40% of the “room” was the bathroom.
The video that Which? took shows the room as a rectangular box completely taken up by a narrow bed. Guests laying on the bed can touch both walls on either side and make tea or coffee from their bed.

The en-suite bathroom is so small that you can wash your hands while sitting on the toilet.
This diminutive room costs about $63.
Which? believes it may be the smallest room in London. At 32 square feet, the room section of Hotel Corbigoe’s small single is smaller than average parking spots in the U.S. which can be as small as 37.5 square feet for compact spaces. It's also less than half the size of an average U.K. parking spot, and smaller than the recommended minimum square footage of a U.S. or U.K. prison cell.
Even if you include the bathroom, at 53 square feet, it's only five square feet larger than the average size of a U.S. prison cell.
The Corbigoe’s small single is not the only shocking small room discovery that Which? made. They also found that the single rooms at Z Hotel in London Soho and Best Western Corona are more expensive per square meter than a suite at the Ritz.
