One person is feared dead and hundreds more displaced in a rainstorm that swept through the Northern regional capital, Tamale last night. Mallam Attah died instantly when a metal container hit him amidst the storm.Assemblyman for Nyan-shegu, Mohammed Awal confirmed the death to Joy News.Two communities were affected by the rainstorm and reports say at least one hundred houses have been destroyed.The region has been hit by devastating storms in the last three weeks with many displaced. Authorities are struggling to deal with the calamity.
