The Youth Wing of the Kekeli Evangelical Presbyterian (EP) Church in Tema Community 11, has donated assorted items worth thousands of Ghana cedis plus a cash donation of GHC500 to the Children’s Ward of the Tema General Hospital.
The items include an overhead water storage tank, drinks and biscuit, and it was in fulfillment of a promise by the youth following a request made two years ago by the hospital authorities when the church painted the hospital premises and presented some assorted items to the children.
The youth also undertook a cleanup exercise and weeding of the surrounding of the Children’s Ward prior to the presentation of the items and cash.
The Youth President of the Church, Eli Hini presented the items on behalf of the youth, and they were received by the Hospital Administrator Anthony Asante.
Some youth and elders of the church, as well as nurses and some supporting staff of the hospital were at the brief presentation ceremony.
