A combined police-military team at Saboba in the Northern Region has arrested four people in connection with a bloody attack on a senior high school in the area.
Several students of the EP Senior High School were reportedly brutalized with clubs, machetes and guns by youth from Kumateak, a nearby community.
The assault follows an attempt by the students to block a footpath across their compound often used by residents.
The school has now been shut down following the attack.
But the District Security Council met earlier today (Monday) to resolve the impasse.
Public Relations Officer at the Saboba education directorate Isaac Sukpeen told Joy News about 800 students will be unable to write their terminal exams.
