Police in Kwahu in the Eastern Region have arrested 14 more people for engaging in nefarious activities. This brings the number of people arrested to thirty-six.
Some of the offenses include stealing, assault, motor traffic offenses and possession of narcotic drugs.
Thousands of people have poured into the cluster of towns in Kwahu for the Easter festivities.
Deputy regional Police Commander ACP James Azumah Abass told Joy News that a team of CID investigators intends to arraign the arrested persons tomorrow.
Four hundred police officers have been deployed to the town to maintain law and order but the officers have been preoccupied with traffic management.
He said they will ensure there is peace and order until the holiday is over.
