It is becoming very worrying, as I think about our inability to differentiate between birthright positions such as chieftaincy and political appointments.
Today, I want us to look at this trend, to enable us to start a big conversation on the way forward.
I know certain positions are stated by law. But the question is, do we need them?
Most appointees complain about lack of funds and logistics to execute their duties.
Then there are the deputies, adding up to the numbers and all of them come at a cost.
Folks, let's start a conversation as to how we can get the most out of people entrusted with political positions.
