With experts predicting that Ghana will run out of clean water bodies by 2025, the Korle Lagoon here in Accra may be an example of one such body that has been destroyed within a short span.
Not too long ago in the 70’s and 80’s, the lagoon used to be a water source full of life.
In the Joy FM weekly series on pollution of water bodies the spotlight is on the Korle Lagoon.
Jefferson Sackey has been finding out how human activities have already destroyed three quarters of its mangroves.
