Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur left Accra, Sunday April 7 for Istanbul, Turkey to participate in the 16th Eurasian Economic Summit.
The Eurasian Economic Summit, an annual event, brings together high-level statesmen, bureaucrats, captains of business and private sector representatives from the Europe and Asia.
The Eurasian region has an approximate population of 643 million and purchasing power of about US$6.551 trillion.
The region is also one of the important geo-political and economic regions in the world.
According to a press release from the Office of the Vice President, Vice President Amissah-Arthur will address this year’s summit as a Guest of Honour.
The summit will focus on Economy, Energy, Telecommunication, Healthcare, Defense and Gender issues.
Vice President Mr Amissah-Arthur returns to Accra on Sunday, April 14.
