Cabinet has directed that old premiums be paid to public sector workers.
It said that this should continue until a determination of which skills fall under the category of critical skills and the amount of the premiums to be paid.
Cabinet sat on Tuesday and approved guidelines for the determination of market premium for employees with critical skills that should attract premiums.
Minister of Information and Media Relations, Hon. Mahama Ayariga in a signed statement said government will soon issue a white paper on the guidelines.
