The Deeper Christian Life Ministry has inaugurated a press corps to propagate the church’s vision of discipline to Ghanaians in Accra. The rationale behind the formation of the press corps is to offer the media in-depth information about the organization’s operations to enable them report from a well-informed standpoint. The press corps which is made up of journalists from 18 media houses in Accra is also necessitated out of the need by the church to use the media as a platform to give an impetus and a new lease of life to the Deeper Life Ministry.Addressing the gathering, the coordinator of the Deeper Life Campus Fellowship, Pastor Francis Fosu said the inauguration of the press corps is a milestone in the history of the church.According to him, the formation of the media group will go down as the most abiding move by the church to court the media and bring them on board the noble mission of reaching the lost souls with the good news about Christ."It marks the realization of a compelling vision by the leadership of the church to take gospel to the doorstep of all Ghanaians" he added.Pastor Fosu underscored the need for the country to be insulated from the sins that have become a cancer eating up the fabric of our national life.Drawing inspiration from Psalm 68:11 which reads :< b> The Lord gave his word: great was the company of those that published it he said the media is the only platform to save the lost sheep of God.The Coordinator of the Deeper Life Campus Ministry stressed the formation of the press corps is not for "needless publicity and ungodly personal hype" but to ensure every hamlet in the country gets to hear the word of God."There is no hope for any man who does not have Christ. Christ is the only hope for Ghana if our leaders will turn to him".Pastor Francis Fosu maintained that Ghanaians need redemption therefore their partnership with the media will ensure it is achieved.
