Guinness Ghana Breweries Ltd is conducting an investigation into an accident which occurred in its Achimota Brewery on Thursday 18 April 2013 in which two people sadly lost their lives.The two - Jacob Fordjour, a malt handler and Aziz Aliu, a security officer - are contractors from L’iane Services and Yutees Security Company respectively.It is not yet known what caused the accident but security officials have been informed and investigations are underway.“We are fully co-operating with the local authorities to determine the cause of the accident”, a statement issued by GGBL read, “but our immediate concerns are with the families and loved ones of our colleagues”.
