The wife of highlife musician Ali Baba Foster, has left her matrimonial home following alleged threats by her husband that he would kill her.
Beatrice Foster Sunday 21st April, reported her husband to the Odorkor police for years of domestic abuse. Although the musician was picked up and questioned, Accra Regional Police Commander DSP Freeman Tettey told Joy News he was bailed after being charged with assault.
The woman said she fears what her husband might do to her, so she will be in hiding until further notice.
Ali Baba has declined comment on the case, however his wife told she suspects the police is prejudiced against her based on what her husband has told them.
She intimated that the police are favouring his husband. She claimed the police teased her that she comes from a tribe in Ghana that do not respect men.
Meanwhile, the police have said it is awaiting the medical report from the singer’s wife to proceed with the investigations.
