For many decades, portable water has been a problem to the people of Klikor and it’s environs. The residents for so many years had to cope with acute water problem resulting in many having to struggle with getting potable water for use.

At a grand commissioning of one of the biggest water projects in the municipality, residents say they can finally have access to good drinking water and they have asked that more of these projects should be seen in other communities in the municipality

Former MCE for Ketu South Benard Amable commended the current administration for their efforts at completing the water project started by the then-NDC administration. He urged all to help the assembly to manage the project.

The Chairman for the programme, Torgbui Addo, said the project was long overdue and expressed happiness for the completion of the project. Like Oliver Twist, he asked that more development projects should be brought to the Municipality.

MCE for the Ketu South Municipality Elliot Edem Agbenorwu promised the government’s commitment at making sure that more projects are brought to the Municipality as a fulfilment of the promise made by the President to the people of Ketu South.

He also urged residents to put partisan politics aside and work for a common goal for the growth of the Municipality.

“I urge everyone to put politics aside and help the government development the Ketu South Municipality,“ he said.
