Acting Director General of the National Lottery Authority, Brigadier-General Martin Ahiaglo says his immediate priority will be to rebuild the lost image of the Authority.
The NLA has over the past few months been in the news over allegations of fraud and corruption leveled against some staff and management.
Subsequently, the then Director–General was asked to proceed on leave.
But in an interview with Joy Business after assuming office, Mr Ahiaglo WAS upbeat about his objective.
“We intend rolling out an aggressive media strategy to sell our stories, to sell ourselves to reassure the public that all is not lost as far as the NLA is concerned.
“We also have a number of new products to roll out taking into consideration that the NLA has now gone fully automated.”
Touching on his relationship with the Board and Management, Mr Ahiaglo said he hopes to work in concert with the Board of Directors, Management and Staff to achieve the core mandate of the Authority
