Professor Agyemang Badu Akosah, a presidential aspirant of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), has urged activists of the Party to rekindle their goading spirit in order to win political power and help rebuild the country.
Speaking at the inauguration of new constituency executive members at Kpone, near Tema, Prof Akosah assured the CPP faithful that he's got a winning team to lead the Party to wrestle power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2008.
"We are the only people-centred party in the country and there would be serious problems if we do not come to power to address these problems of poverty, education and equal share of the national cake," he said.
He cautioned that there should be no farce in solving the country's problems because the nation comes first before any other interest and "this is the focus of the CPP,” he added.
Prof Akosah held that the nation needs fresh ideas in leadership to help grow and transform the economy.
