Free State Stars have completed the signing of Ghanaian goalkeeper Daniel Agyei.
Goalkeeper Agyei has signed a three-year contract, replacing Zambian international Kennedy Mweene who has joined Mamelodi Sundowns.
The former Liberty Professionals keeper joins his countryman Abdul Basit Adam, a striker who joined the club on a three-year-deal recently.
“It’s done deal. The club has already applied for their work permits,” a source close to the club reveals.
Free State Stars have already signed Mthokozisi Yende and Mongezi Bobe, from Maritzburg United and Black Leopards respectively.
Meanwhile, Paulus Masehe has been named the new captain following Mweene’s departure and Wellington Sambu is the new vice-captain, while Katlego Mashego serves as the second vice-captain.
