Turkish giants Bursaspor have confirmed reaching a mutual agreement with Ghana striker Prince Tagoe to terminate the player’s contract.
The 26-year-old has been fighting the club over his playing time at the Turkish side just one season into his contract.
A deal has been reached now for the Ghanaian to leave with some financial compensation over the remainder of his contract.
“Ibrahim Kas and Prince Tagoe have had their contracts terminated by mutual agreement,” a club insider said.
Tagoe joined the Turkish top-flight side in 2011 from TSG Hoffenheim for a transfer fee of 1.5 million euros.
But the 26-year-old failed to impress at the club where made 11 appearances and scored one goal.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Saudi side Ittifaq where he scored one goal in 8 appearances.
