The Board of Directors of Kumasi Asante Kotoko are expected to meet at the club’s secretariat in Kumasi this morning to discuss matters and developments that have taken place in the club in the past one week or more.
The Board meeting will be followed by that of the management team. Head of the Kotoko Communication Team, Dr. Ernest Opoku disclosed this to asantekotokosc.com yesterday
.
All the Board members with exception of Ambassador Kabral Blay-Amihere and Madam Agnes Osei, who have sought permission to be away, are in Kumasi for the crucial meeting.
Tema based businessman, Alhaji Abu Lamini who could be chairing the meeting, told asantekotokosc.com in an interview that the meeting will look at the club’s trip to Sunderland early August as well as other pertinent issues.
It is however not clear what the management meeting will be based on but coming after the Board of Directors’ meeting, it is expected that decisions taken by the Board could form the basis for anything the management team will discuss.
The meeting is coming on more than a week after the Executive Chairman, Dr. K. K. Sarpong resigned.
