The 2013-14 Premier League season will kick off on September 15, the Ghana Football Association has announced.
Three newly promoted sides - Bechem FC, Inter Allies and Hasaacas - will join the top-flight after sealing qualification for the the 16-team competition as Tema Youth, Berekum Arsenal and Real Tamale United drop to the lower division.
Asante Kotoko, who won the league title on the last day of the previous season will be defending their title.
The off-season Top-4 Competition, fixed for September 1-11 will herald the start of the Premier League. Kotoko, Berekum Chelsea, Medeama and Dwarfs will compete in the competition.
