Ghana’s Local Black Stars on Friday lost 0-1 to Libya in a friendly in Tunis.
The match forms part of Ghana’s preparations for next year’s Championship of African Nations (CHAN) in South Africa.
Midfielder Marwaan al-Mabrouk scored the game’s only goal in the second half.
The Local Black Stars qualified for the tournament after the withdrawal of qualifying opponents Benin, leaving head coach Maxwell Konadu to arrange some friendly games to keep the team in tune for January’s showpiece.
Ghana was captained by Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Helegbe in the match.
Ghana XI (4-2-3-1) vs. Libya: Foli Adade - Godfred Saka, Kwabena Adusei, Abeiku Ainooson, Francis Morton - Michael Akuffo, Moro Abubakar - Jordan Opoku, Michael Helegbe, Latif Mohammed - Richard Gadze.
