Asante Kotoko's title defence of the Premier League will start at the Coronation Park in Sunyani where they serve their last home match ban from the previous season.
The Premier League Board confirmed decision on Monday as the champions will open the campaign on Sunday against Aduana Stars when the new season gets underway.
Kotoko were hit with a three-match home ban last season for acts of misconduct by their supporters during a home game against Medeama at the Baba Yara Stadium.
