Businessman Alfred Agbesi Woyome who owes the state some ¢47m has resorted to a popular local proverb, 'Kafo didi’ to wit ‘even debtors must eat’.
But retorting on JoyFM’s news analysis show Newsfile, veteran journalist Kweku Baako said ‘Kafo ndi abÔ‘ nkwan' to wit ‘debtors eat but they must not enjoy soup’.
This was to explain, while debtors must eat, they are not free to enjoy sumptuous meals.
