The National Democratic Congress Diaspora Supporters Union has appealed to the Factional National Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to take into consideration its members in the diaspora in the proposed biometric registration of its members.
“We think the membership biometric registration is a laudable and innovative idea from our hardworking national executive, but the process must be carried in such a way that members/supporters in the diaspora are not left out,” a statement issued by the Union said.
The Supporters Union also pledged their readiness to support the mother party in Ghana for a “successful implementation of the project with our financial and human resources”.
The statement signed by Seth Addi and Esther Grobe, Secretary and Chairperson respectively said the move to expand the electoral college of the party and the biometric registration are indications that the NDC is “moving from strength to strength”.
It is confident these will help the party to also move “from victory to victory” and build the party for future generations.
