The next episode of JoyNews' citizen-driven series ‘Dear Nana Addo’ captures the worrying state of the homeless, including children, sleeping rough on the streets of Accra.
Chapter 6 of the NPP's 2016 manifesto says the NPP government would “develop housing units targeted at the vulnerable and marginalised.” But what's the situation on the ground?
Ghanaians who heard and received the promises of candidate Nana Akufo-Addo ahead of the 2016 elections are now speaking through Joy News’ series, ‘Dear Nana Addo.’
Essentially, they are giving their own assessment of their circumstances and the assurances they received from the highest echelons of power, almost three years in office.
With this year-long series, Joy News gives an opportunity for the people to speak to President Akufo-Addo. It is also an opportunity for the President and his ministers to address the concerns that the people are raising.
The mini-documentary is set for broadcast Wednesday on the Super Morning Show and at 7:20 pm on News Prime on the JoyNews channel.
