Reports reaching sportscrusaderonline.com reveals Ghana Premier League side, Accra Hearts of Oak will appoint a new manager by next Tuesday,November 19.
Sources within Hearts of Oak have disclosed that after the Board’s emergency meeting on Thursday evening the club has decided to name a new head coach on Tuesday before the Ghana Premier League competition resumes on 27th November 2013.
Former Hearts and Ghana Black Stars defender Joseph Addo looks most likely to get the Hearts nod.He currently leads the race and could meet the Hearts Board on Monday afternoon to finalise discussions.
Sportscrusaderonline.com can also confirm that 18 coaches have expressed interest to take up the vacant Hearts post.
Hearts sacked Manager David Duncan last Friday due to unwise spending.
18 coaches apply for Hearts job
18 coaches have expressed interest to take up the coaching job at Accra Hearts of Oak.
Sportscrusaderonline.com has gathered that the tall list include Professor Mintah of Dwarfs, former Kotoko player Abdul Razak, former Hearts players Joe Addo and Mohammed Polo, former Hearts Coach Papic, former Hearts Coach Papic, Yussif Abiubakar and Didi Draman.
Hearts is expected to name a new manager by close of next Tuesday.
Hearts’ board Chairman in close consultation with the Board of directors will meet up with all 18 coaches before the final decision will be made on Tuesday.
The club has already commenced separate interviews with the coaches mentioned above.
