It is the second demonstration organised by the Progressive Peoples Party’s Anti corruption campaign coalition.

According to Luv FM's Erastus Asare Donkor, over 300 people joined in the protest march which started at about 10 am, an improvement in the number of participants in a similar event in October in Accra.

Convenor for the PPP-led anti corruption march, Nii Allotey Brew-Hammond demanding among others, separation of the Attorney General from the Ministry of Justice as well as an independent legislature to enable the state effecively fight corruption.

The party is also calling for the election of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives as opposed to the current practise where they are appointed by the president.
